The study is led by Pastor Smith. It is attended by both Japanese and English speakers. We are currently teaching through the Gospel of John. We open and close with Psalm singing.
The Bible is the foundation for Western culture, not only its literature, music, and art, but even its science and law. No other book has exerted such influence on human civilization. But the Bible is an ancient book, or rather, a collection of 66 ancient books. Much of it speaks straight to us today, but many parts are not easily understood. Moreover, it forms one unified view of the world and life.
